01' SVT Lightning 600+rwhp Truck is now running a stock blower+c&l plenum making 490rwhp/5xxrwtq. With the whipple it was 604rwhp/652rwtq on the pump gas street tune....
Being a full time student plus trying to work my *** off to keep up with the note just isnt smart :shrug:I'm selling it to get a gas saver, I want to keep it but I need to be smart about this.... So sadly shes officially publicly up for sale. The truck currently sits at 80,XXX miles, roughly around 5,500 miles on the new shortblock, fresh heads, all new valvetrain etc etc. The trans(built by BTS, anyone in the lightning world or 4R100 knows there pretty much the best of the best) has just a hair over 7k miles. One of the best decisions I made was with who built the transmission!
Performance:
Motor: Motor is a JDM longblock.
Jdm forged longblock 9:3:1 compression (www.teamjdm.com)
Jdm stage 3 heads
Jdm stage 3 cams
60# injectors
Dual walbro 255# fuel pumps
Eaton blower/c&l plenum 2.80 upper pulley
JDM egr delete plate
Ported/matched lower intake
Accufab "Lightning" SBTB
Ba 2600 Maf
SCT xcal2 tuner. Loaded with valet/street/104 street tune.
Exhaust:
Custom longtube headers
catless mids
Bassani SS catback
I've recieved compliments time and time again on the exhaust setup, sounds plain nasty putting around and at WOT screams which is why I've never even changed it since the built motor.
Suspension:
4/6 drop,.
Eibach springs, nitrogen adjustable shocks f&r
Lakewood slapper bars, daily driven and longbars can be a hassle with the lowered truck.
18'' 01/02 chrome wheels. (not perfect, bought the truck years back with them and the original owner had curbed one of them not bad though at all)
Hankook ventus 295/45/18's F&R. Fronts are brand new, rears have 5k miles.
Trans:
Fully built by BTS will handle just about anything you can throw at it power wise, 2400 stall. I made the trip to arkansas just to have the work done, well well worth it.
Interior:
Stock, very very VERY clean. Non smoker owner(s).
Stock 6 disk works flawlessly, no blown speakers etc.
AEM wideband gauge on a steering column pod.
Light switch has been modified for fogs with parking lamps as seen in pics.
Exterior:
Have the antenna cut down so its not a bullwhip any longer.
Alarm:
Aftermarket Auto Page unit.
LCD remote 1mile range, warning page unit, remote start with 2 aux.
Also have spare remote to go along, and factory alarm remotes.
Warrantied.
Has all the shock sensors you can imagine, settings are adjusted so stupid things(stereos) dont set it off.
The truck is merely a twin screw away from being a 10 second truck once again... with the 2.3 whipple it made 604rwhp/652rwtq on pump gas and 16-17#'s of boost(street tune, 8* of timing lol.) It went 6.9x's on 18'' MT drag radials and 10.96 was the best 1/4 on 18's. Never turned up the boost on this motor at all, never thrown crazy timing etc. With the eaton it is currently making 490/5xx.
Someone just needs to buy the truck, swap blowers, tune, and well you have yourself a 10 sec daily driver..... or one BADASS tow rig.
$16,500 OBO..... the bumper in the pic was scratched up at the bottom, a brand new front bumper is on the truck along with the grill surround being freshly painted
