wts or poss. trade my 2001 jeep cherokee limited.
Well I bought my son a 2001 jeep. figured he would be happy with it and I could drive it thru the winter. But after letting him drive my goat for the last month he want's a fbody. So Im willing to trade my 2001 jeep. cherokee limited. I just bought it a few weeks ago. The owner I bought it from bought it brand new in 01'. He paid 24,000.00 for it. it's the limited model. The original window sticker is sitting in the glovebox. it has Leather, heated seats/mirrors. fully loaded, cold a/c. woodgrain. Exterior I would call a 7-8 out of a 10. Only 2 little door dings on the pass. side. back bumper has some scratches from when the 60yr. old owner was hooking up his dirtbike/motorcycle carrier which also comes with the jeep.
and some chips on the front of the hood from all the highway driving he did.I can't find any rust anywhere. And it's the nice dark patriot blue. Now to the interior... I would rate it a 9 out of 10. in beautiful shape. no tears/rips. interior is clean. only back seat has 2 little snags on them. Grey interior. Tires are only 6mo. old and prob. have atleast 80%. wheels are still like new and clean up and shine nicely.
Comes with heavy duty hitch, and wiring is all there for a trailer. and remember the dirtbike/sportbike carrier comes with it. Everything works. Jeep drives nice and tight. no rattles/noises. 4x4 works like new. If anything went wrong with the jeep, he would have it fixed right away. And it does get 21mpg's cruising down the highway at 70mph... Overall it's a pretty clean jeep and it runs like a new one.
Now the only downside to it..
It has 244,000mi. The owner raced classic/vintage dirtbikes across the midwest. and he traveled to illinois, missouri, oklahoma, all thruout ks. and surrounding areas. 90% of the miles are highway miles. It does have the 4.0L. inline 6. which is bulletproof. and it carries 20lbs. of oil pressure when warmed up at idle and 45-50lbs. going down the road.
that is the only downside to it. The parts are cheap for jeeps and there is a ton of aftermarket for it.This jeep is unmolested. The title is left open and the lien release has been signed and notarized by the bank. so it's ready to go...
the kbb on the jeep is 4800.00 even with the miles on it in good condition.
I will sell it for 4,000.00 or trade for a fbody for my son. Modded or unmolested as long as it's pretty clean and runs good.
Im located about 50mi. south of kc. If someone wants to look at it or take it for a test drive... "serious inquiries only please".
if you have any questions you can call me at 816-510-3555.Or you can email me at chieferfan@yahoo.com or pm me on here. thanks....Lonnie

Just a ttt, if someone wants a pretty clean, unmolested last yr. made cherokee fully loaded, limited model.
Oh yeah and it doesn't smoke, or leak a drop of anything except condensation when the a/c is running.
It really is one of the cleaner cherokee's I have seen.

I know, he's a knucklehead..
and I can't believe it only weighs around 3400lbs. No wonder it feel's like it's on it's toes compared to my goat...
Oh well, if I don't find a fbody to trade for it, I'll have a great rig to drive in the winter, and he'll be ...LOL
