Fs/ft 1994 Z28
1994 Camaro Z28
86,XXX miles
Hardtop
Automatic
Quasar blue with gray/black interior
3.23
PW, PL, PM, keyless
Brief history:
The car does have a salvage title because it was stolen and recovered. The guy who bought it at auction changed his mind about fixing the car and sold it to me. The carfax report only shows a couple MINOR accidents.
Mechanical:
The motor had a spun bearing when I got it at ~70k miles. Put in new bearings and rings and it has been my daily driver since may 06.
Trans. works fine and shifts good
Rear is solid
AC works but is a little quirky. On hot days the compressor won’t stay engaged, haven’t figured out why yet.
Interior:
Overall great shape.
Dash pad is not broken, console lid is not broken, seat bolster is not torn (the old cover did tear but I replaced the pad and cover).
Graphite gray, with the 2 tone dark/light gray cloth seats.
Spot on back of rear seat where it looks like a hot cable melted through (see pic)
Passenger side kick panel is broken behind seat.
Black lightweight Speed Inc. carpet.
Recovered door panels with black carpet on the lower part and black vinyl on the upper.
Exterior:
Overall decent shape.
Paint isn’t the best but it does shine up nice and looks good from a few feet away.
Couple chips and small scratches here and there of course. The worst is the front bumper. There is a small crack in the bumper by the pass. side corner light and there is some paint cracking. Also on the hood you can see where there used to be a bra. Other than that it’s pretty good though.
Chrome firebird 5-spokes with Kumho ecsta supra tires. Curb rash on one because people in Columbia can’t drive.
New parts since May 06:
AC compressor, alternator, PS pump, tensioner pulley (most of these were replaced in search of a noise that turned out to be the tensioner pulley)
Opti
Battery
Fresh trans. fluid and filter
Brake pads (as of last week)
Pass. Side window motor
And a few other misc little things. I spent a lot of time fixing most of the little things wrong with the car.
Mods:
Pacesetter coated long tube headers
Pacesetter ORY
Hooker catback with Summit cutout
Aluminum intake elbow
Air foil
!EGR/AIR
Herron Performance tune.
Clear corners
Car ran a best of 13.588 @ 101 on street tires before the headers and exhaust
Asking $4100
If you want you can email me at pyro97scherp@yahoo.com
Car is located in Columbia, SC during the week and Aiken, SC some weekends.
Will also consider trades for 4x4 Chevy/GMC truck or SUV
