After just a month in my garage I am reluctantly selling Rosie the Saturn, I bought her from original owners who named her Rosie the day she rolled off the lot. Rosie is 137K miles young, has leather interior, P/S, A/C, ABS, Kenwood CD Player and changer, has shiny paint, the works and has a clean title to boot!
You may ask why I have Rosie, well, I bought her just a month ago and gave her a make-over build in Project Car Magazine. Yep, that’s right, Rosie is going to be famous come March when the issue hits newsstands. Less than 500 miles ago Rosie got $5,000 worth of upgrades for the magazine.
This little red rocket now get’s almost 40mpg on the freeway, is comfortable, reliable and FUN to drive. If you’re looking for a low-buck fast and fun little car, Rosie is it! She’d also make a great first car, so if you know anyone looking for that special starter car Rosie is also up to the task! After the build she now handles like a dream, stops on a dime, has a racy interior and makes a dyno-proven 145hp at the crank (enough to definitely get you in trouble!).
Below are the modifications for the magazine and once I have the printed copies in hand I’ll send those to her new owner so they can show everyone how famous Rosie really is. On a serious note though, this Saturn has a great interior, clean paint, plenty of power and is a great car that I (now after spending many hours improving upon) want to see go to someone who will enjoy her. Treat her well and she’ll last forever.
Car is in Southern Ca but will drive several-hundred miles if needed.
