FS>2001 Grand Prix GTP*Northern Indiana*
The time has come that I need to sell the GTP and buy my dream car so here it goes..Description:
Year: 2001
Model: Grand Prix
Trim: GTP Coupe
Exterior Color: Redfire Metallic
Interior Color: Taupe(leather)
Miles: 86,XXX
Title: Clean
Options: Has everything that was avalable from the factory including>16" Polished aluminum torque star wheels, Power Drivers' seat, Heated drivers seat, Bose speaker system, Sunroof Heads-Up display, Digital DIC, Auto dimming rear-view mirror, and OnStar.
I am very particular about how I take care of my car and change it. The car did have a few mild mods that have now been removed and replaced with the original factory parts that were taken off. They included: 3"downpipe, DHP pcm w/ perf. shift, and MSP cai.
The upgrades that will remain on the car include:
MSD spark wires, Autolite 104 spark plugs, 180* thermostat, Cross-drilled/slotted rotors w/ ceramic brake pads.
I purchased the fiberglass SD ram air hood about a year ago and had it
professionally painted at the dealership. It is in great shape with only a few rock chips that have been touched up. When I bought the car almost 2 years ago, I purchased brand new rear taillights and headlights capsules due to the old ones being chipped and/or the laminate peeling. The car also has a Compustar remote start/alarm that I had installed which includes a 2-way pager with LCD display and 4 buttons to operate the keyless entry, arming/disarming the alarm, truck pop..etc. I also have two factory key fobs to go along with it.
Maintenance:
-Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles with Mobil1 10W-30 Full Sythetic Extended Performance.
-Supercharger oil was changed recently with GM s/c oil.
-Serpentine and supercharger belts were replaced with Goodyear Gatorback belts recently.
-New AC Delco fuel pump
-New MSD spark plug wires
-New Autolite 104 spark plugs
-Transmission fluid chemically flushed and replaced with BG tranny oil.
-Tires are brand new(BFGoodrich G-Force Sport)
-Rotors and brake pads were replaced with cross-drilled/slotted and ceramics recently.
Being a detailer, the car has been meticulously maintained and never went a week without being cleaned. It has been only washed with a microfiber washmit and waxed weekly. I constantly get comments on how clean the car always is.
This car has been VERY reliable, runs strong and I have had zero problems with it. No low-balling or advising me on the price. I paid more than what the car was worth when I bought it, and it is a better car now than the day I purchased it.
I would rate the Exterior as a 9.5 out of 10, and the Interior a 10 out 10 easy as there are no signs of wear and tear. Whoever buys this car will NOT be disappionted.
