2006 KTM 200XC dirtbike
ON EBAY! RESERVE IS MET: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...248059524&rd=1
traded my WR250 for this bike. just rode it in Chadwick all weekend. it is absolutly perfect for trail/cross country riding. i love this bike and want to keep it, but can't justify it as nobody else EVER gets to go riding.
the bike is stock EXCEPT for:
carbon fiber pipe guard
badass CNC'd alluminum radiator guards
alluminum skid plate
WP Racing (SX) forks and shock
narrowed bars with bark busters
i also have a couple spare front fenders, rear fenders, and radiator shrouds. i have the factory seat and a lowered seat, spare air filters, tool kit, KTM "briefcase" with all manuals.....there may be more i can't remember. this bike always fires on the first or second kick if you have 'the touch,' hot or cold. it's a 2-stroke with a 6-speed. factory Excel rims and Brembo brakes. i have the 'briefcase' with all manuals, pen, jet/needle, etc...
the bike is in stellar shape. i can't say how many hours it has exactly as i'm not the original owner. i also don't have a title but who cares.
i'm asking $4000 obo

what shape are the chain and sprockets in? brake pads? tires? (looks like the **** are rounded off pretty far) stock ktm bars? narrowed by how much? suspension is stiffer than stock? (SX vs XC) what kind of 2-stroke oil do u use? what kind of tranny oil? original top end? about how many hours have you put on the top end? u do your own service or does Letko?
sorry for all the questions.

chain, sprockets, brakes, and tires are all good. plenty of life left on them. the previous owner narrowed the bars, not very much though at all. i'm ~6'1" with a pretty good reach and they're still very comfortable. the suspension isn't much, if any, stiffer than the stock XC suspension. i love the way it's set up. it's all adjustable anyway....the rear shock is still soft, when i sit on the bike i can get both feet flat on the ground. i've only used Motorex oil. i've followed all the service manual suggestions and specs since i've owned it. the guy i got it from was some kind of serious rider, he and his wife had 7 bikes. he said the top end was "good for quite some time" when i picked it up, so i assume it's fresh. the bike is very dependable and ready to ride.
i haven't had it long enough to do any real work on it. i've actually only "rode" it once. i've ran around my neighborhood and backyard on it a bit, but it's only seen trail duty once since i've owned it. the previous own bought it from a friend who bought it new. it's been VERY well taken care of. i had a '07 yamaha WR250 before this bike that i couldn't seem to sell, so i traded it for the KTM cuz i wanted to own a KTM for a while. i love it way better than the yamaha.
feel free to PM me or ask any other questions.
