Default 1992 Firehawk #20 of 25

A very rare opportunity for an ultra rare car.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...D#ht_11652wt_0

I wont stop the auction unless you have $100000. Low reserve.

Nice car, but you posted it in LSX POWERED section. This is a LT1 car.

not even lt1--
more like a L98
I love 3rd gens but for you to think that your hawk is worth more than a 99-02 LS1 powered f-body is kind of funny. I guess it's all a matter of taste. I have owned my share of 3rd gen f-body's(8 f-bodies) and still own 3 and non come close to the performance of my 2002

That car is waaaaayyyy more rare than a 99-02 LS1 powered F-body. Would I pay that much for it? No way. But I like to drive the cars I own. Someone may very well be willing to pay that much for it. I guess we will see?

You did read the title where it said #20 of 25 right?

Car is up to 34k now....they were the most expensive and rarest Firebird ever produced, and yes a 92 Hawk is every bit of fast as an 02 Hawk...if not faster with some sticky tires....those cars had so much torque(rated at 390ftlbs) even the stock 275 17 Firestones went up in smoke.

What a hilarious post. Sorry but you owning multiple 3rd gens does not even compare to the rarity or power of a 3rd gen(1st gen hawk). Maybe you should do some research.

I think it's kind of funny that someone who is clearly 100% clueless as to the value of a car like this would make a post in this thread. All you've done is show your lack of knowledge.

A) A '92 Firehawk is nothing like a basic 3rd gen V8 car, performance wise.

B) Since when is performance the only gauge of value? If that was the case, most big block muscle cars from '68-'72 would be worthless, since their performance is often less than a stock LS1 car. But we all know what kind of money those cars can fetch.

People like you give LSx owners a bad name. You need to educate yourself on a car like this before making comments about it's value. Your high and mighty attitude about the value of your common 2002 LS1 car makes you look foolish. Your car will never have collector value like a 3rd gen Firehawk. And that's not a matter of opinion.

Default just a comment...

i wish they made some in any other color than red...
Awesome car, and yeah, its one of the rarest fbodies ever produced. Youll find more yenkos, bergers, nickys, and copos than you will ever see of these. ****, they even made more ZL1 supercars than these. I would rather have a 600hp ls1 supercar though...
i hope my 93 firehawk will be worth that much one day, but they did make like 200 of them. 3rd gen cars are cooler than 4th, just the engines sucked. thats why i have a ls1 89 rs ;]

Dam I'm actually surprised people bided that thing up to the $30s. Most people with modern muscle cars are practically trying to GIVE AWAY there cars , yet can't budge.

btw how much did it sell for? I really hope someone did not pay $100K for that lol.

Wow, i would love to get my hands on this thing!!!!! Too bad i can't afford it. For those of you that don't know, this is the BADDEST F-body ever made, it screams performance, i don't think a 2002 Firehawk performs anywhere as good as this car did. the T-ram Intake manifold alone made 45hp!!! For those of you bashing on this car, do some research on the 91-92 Firehawk, the real one. The ones after that are BS. This is the car that made SLP what it is today.

91-92 Frehawk > *!!!

If I had the funds, I'd be all over it. I really like the fact it doesn't have the cheesy body molding like other 'birds of that year.

Awesome car, man!!!
