or go the easy way and become a cop, i was in the acad here in vegas blew my knee out and to this day they wont call me because i have a bias opinion sience i was a cadet,
or you can walk in and say "well if you have enough evidence to push it to trial hes guilty", you'll be outa there in 10 mins

I was just a jury a couple weeks ago. Most people who were not white, played the I don't speak english card & got dismissed.
I asked the attorneys afterwards why they picked me, and they say they look for plain, clean cut people. I asked her if she would have let me off if I had a lot of tattoos, and she said probably. So since you can't wear a tank top, you should wear a muscle shirt (there is no rule against them). If you don't have real tattoos then go get fake ones the day before.

I say just go and take an mp3 with a **** load of music, and videos, the day wet by like a breeze for me, but the stupid part was the had two room fulls of people that they didn't even use

Last time I served, a guy I went to high school with did this. Looked like a tool, but it worked. Some old **** even cried, saying he was assaulted by a gang member.
On a side note, when I attended last year, I wore shorts the first day and they wanted to reschedule me. It looked like they were way overbooked (but what do I know), I went home and changed, came back, and by lunch they dismissed us. Lucky bet.
So my advice: accept the jury duty because they may not need you (you call in to find out), and if you have to show up, wear unacceptable attire to get rescheduled.

You better not try that line out. If you **** the criminal judge off he may send you over to serve in a civil trial. The civil trails last much longer than the average criminal trial.

say that it will be hard for u to not go against the law because of past experiences, an old man did that while i was there, he said that he didnt like the cops/law in any way possible, and it would be hard for him not to be biased, and the judge just let him go. its honesty they want!

Not sure how you are notified in your area. But my local court sends out a 3x5 card stating to appear at a certain date and time. I just some how forget to go, if they were serious about, it they would send the notice through certified mail. Sure seems like they loose a lot of items through the mail now a days, what’s one more, be it mine or theres.
