Default Cheap *** LS1

Found a Camaro Z28 for sale for $2,999.
It has 201,414 miles on it though haha

What do you guys think about this.
It would leave me a lot of money to build a bullet proof car.
Built motor, built trans, built rear, and a big shot

I'm suprised that you haven't learned by now that money disappears fast when you start building up your car...
and do you really want to start with a POS? 200k sounds like you'll have to replace a lot of the stupid maintenance items like bushings, joints, everything - then there's the other wear and tear items like interior, paintjob, etc. You may be better off buying a low-mileage roller with a clean title if you just want to build something up.

If it is that car, then it looks like it's beat. The paint on the front clip doesn't match, and the body lines on the entire front clip are screwed up - so it's probably been hit bad in the past and wasn't fixed properly. The interior looks trashed (ashtray, door panels, carpet, probably seats) too. I'm sure with it being an A4 and 200k miles the engine and transmission is toast (or close), unless it was rebuilt very very recently... But you wouldn't be keeping that anyways...

Id sooner pick up a nice roller...saw one on here was a REALLY nice black SS, had no engine, trans or rear, no seats but dash was nice it had a 6pt cage and looked great! He was asking $4000 with a car trailer. Maybe a little more work than you want but thats a beat up looking car there...and come on Krazy, an A4?

There is a white Z28 roller in WA I think he wants 2k for it. I see him posting in the racers lounge every once in a while but maybe try the north western section.

From the pictures it didn't look too bad to me.
I would actually like a nice roller with low miles better though.

Also, I don't care if it is an auto or a 6spd, just as long as it gets me back into an f-body.

That would be sweet for a track car, buy it, strip the interior and all the crap you dont need out of the engine bay, sell the motor/trans/rear, buy a used moser 9", race prepped TH400, stock lq4 shortblock with good heads and a big n20 shot and your in buisness.Thats my plan at least...but id rather have a 3rd gen.

That was exactly what I was thinking.

That is my plan.

Also found an 00 camaro Z28 on craigslist for $4300, with only 130,000 miles. That one might be a little better.
