oh and how many coats of paint did u put on them? i just finished my 2nd

for the paint dj sanchez helped me out, first he just sprayed very lightly just so the 2nd coat sticks. i think we ended up doing 3 or 4 coats of very light spray being very careful not to make runs!

well yea i was sanding by hand but i grinded off the taps so i needed to sand alot around that area just so i can get it flush.

cool thats what i did. i also light scuffed it a bit with some sand paper before hand.

i dont my tool to grind those things down, ill have to save it for another day i suppose

thx! just did the 3rd coat these things are looking awesome already i cant wait to see them on my car

ill have some pics up tomorrow when im all finished. i really need that blue magic stuff. the lens' look great under water but right when i take them away they fog lol

lol, yea the blue magic stuff will take most of the fog away but then u need to finalize it with plastic scratch remover stuff. use the micro fiber towels. see if u can find the novas stuff its literally the best, many people on here have also used it with amazing results

do it about 2 or 3 times with the blue magic rubbing aggressively. o and the blue magic is not going to remove everything man, did u get the plastic scratch remover? if u were closer i would have gave u some of mine but lol ur not. o did u do the plastic X stuff too?

alright i got these things looking good! this is what i did. i went back and wet sanded them with the 1500 and 2000 grit just going side to side, rather than all sorts of the directions.

then i busted out the electric buffer and buffed the crap out of them using the blue magic, about 3 good runs per lens. and then i used the plasticx stuff and they came out really good. i just sealed them, going to put them back in the car after lunch and post some pics
