Default Big thanks to CMS.

just arrived home from picking up the car from CMS. I must say, those 3 guys are awesome to deal with. I brought them the hawk after it was botched up by someone. long story short, Forst dyno was in the 350s, Mind you this is a very mild H/C car, built for the street with intentions on mid and low range power. no reason for that number. So, ryne got ahold of it, and threw some tuning on it.

After the low numbers i thought hope was lost. but only a few runs later ryne had it running great. the old tune was pig rich, and ****. now she runs beautiful, and i can start it and go. She put down a modest 390/389 through cats. I am super happy with the torque and the curve. havent gotten on it yet though, but im sure it will be a good ride.

Also, A huge thanks to CJ and Mike. My main reason going was a bad 3rd gear in my tranny. After tearing it apart they found much more wrong but never skipped a beat. Now the new tranny is as strong as an Ox. While it was out they put a new clutch and flywheel in to boot. The LS7 usually gets a wrap for engaging at the bottom of travel, So CJ made me a custom shim and made it work awesome. not to mention mike always kept me up to speed on things with the hawk.

Again, Great job CMS. I cant wait to get up there tomorrow for some N20 number. You guys are awesome!

Great group of guys indeed!

My car should be going in soon for a new clutch and re-built tranny. Maybe a set of gears and harrop cover too????

We'll see.

I need to get my 12 bolt down there so they can convert it over for me (3 channel to 4 channel) and get some 3.90 or 4.10's put in.

well, we went back today, gave the nitrous a hit. nothing. Shitty install demons back to haunt me again. after some finesse we got the car to spray, still to no avail. The nozzle placement was horrible and the IAT sensor was reading no drop at all across it. Thanks to the crew there, we had mike relocate both the nozzle and the IAT to a better place. Still the temp only dropped to 10 degrees, not to mention it went super lean. And even though he had **** to do ryne stayed until the last second working with my car. He is an awesome guy.

needless to say we didnt get a full pull out. We DID dyno 405/388 today first time up NA, which is 50 over the original number before rynes tune. the partial run we got out was on a 100 shot and we only made it to about 5400 before it was shut down due to going very lean. numbers on that were 502/520. she has more in her. we just need time to figure it out. Thanks again guys!

heres a pic of the sheet i took with my camera:

yea man, i found a conversion for about 170. and i think that TPS switch can be salvaged if wired correctly. think you can have mike PM or call with an install quote for the conversion? also, i think i still have a part on my bottle from the shop so remind me next time im up that way! Thanks again brother

EDIT: now that i looked it up. You can use the button to calibrate the swith for WOT. i think it may have been bumped maybe while i was cleaning or something. Thats good news
