Default Another freakin suspension issue

Ok so now after I took my car up to Suck my SS shop and possibly coming up with me needing new ball joints at some point and sway bar bushings. The other day I noticed my rear has been getting more and more loose. Like I make a sharp left, left turns only. The rear wiggles, you can feel it pretty hard core and makes a clunk when it does. Good grief the engine and tranny are the best parts on this car so far hahahaha. Sooo anyone got any ideas? I searched but couldn't find anything. Sum it up the rear end is moving on sharp left turns like it is trying to walk out on me which i think is not too good. Today at lunch drove back to work and well it is getting a little bit worse. So I am not getting on it too much so i don't totally cause the demise of this car.

Ohh and I will be getting this thing back up on the lift again here in the next week or so but I figured I would ask and see what could be issues and then check those first. Even though Shant is a pretty knowledgable guy and would most likely have an answer but i would see here too. call it my inquisitive nature.

check the sway bar bushings or lower control arms. mine is doing the same thing as of now. even with my upgraded LCA and PHB my rear end would move enough for my tire to rub the body, but im talking super hard turns while im on the gas and turning like 90 degrees. i think it wont hurt to check the torque arm bushing as well

Yeah this is what I was thinking, but man I want to be double sure, I may end up spending all my christmas money buying new bushings for this guy and new ball joints.

your endlinks on your sway bar are prol worn out. just replace everything with energy suspension polly bushings. you can pick them up at autozone they are pretty cheap like 30 bucks and you will have everything you need. i would do that first to see if that fixes the problem. if its still doin it the maybe try replacing the torque arm bushing. thats just what i would try.

Well coming back from lunch it did a nice really loud bang bang bang from the driver side rear, i was going in a straight line and put my foot into it a little and man it was loud, so whatever my issue is it is something either bound up or just getting torqued to hell. mannn maybe I should just wait for it to break then find out what the problem is. hahaha. bad idea I know.

I checked it and it seemed pretty tight. I am wondering if it isn't worn, cause it really started doing this after i took it to irwindale and then did a little foolin around on the street.

Sure it's not a loose exhaust component?

nahh exhaust is up and snug, like I said it was only doing this one left or right turns and you feel it on the driver side, and it feels like the rear is hesitating and it pops and bangs like metal on metal. no constant grinding and this time was just a straight line, it was like a back fire bang but a metal bang. and the rear felt not so good when it did that.

Maybe its a damn unicorn in my transylvanian transaxle.

Zex you think my muffler bearing might be loose?

Possibly - did you use the proper washers when retorquing everything?

Keep looking man, check even the things you dismissed or checked before.
