This is untrue. For every $1.00 they contribute they use $3.00 in goverment services. Also the day without a illegal 2 years ago was one of the best days of driving during the week in Socal in 20 years. Traffic conjugation cost the state and the tax payer a ton of money.

exactly...i really don't see how people don't realize that. If undocumented people take "your" jobs then shame on you...and trust me, i used to work for a non-profit in downtown LA for a couple of years that dealt w/ all of this...and what shaarky said is absolutely correct

This is where you are way off base. They do take many jobs besides the ones non one wants your probley just not old enough to see the change. Construction jobs used to have a ton of legal people building house's, Body shops for painting and a ton of other examples of true blue collar work. One of my best friends is Hispanic decent so this isn't a race thing. It all about being underminded by our goverment for a quest for power.

Look how bad Mexico is now. It is corrupt and somewhat broke but they have a ton of resources. We are going down the same path and unless something changes quickly it will be unrecoverable.

1st of all this is a democratically controlled state. Bush had really nothing to do with the 40 billion dollars increase in big government here the last 4 years. The Dems have controlled this state for the past 7 years and Arnold is hardly a republican.

It is proven and documented that the system is overloaded which isn't just illegal aliens but it is one piece to the overspending puzzle. Don't you realize all these translators,special services and people driving around illegal is very taxing on the state. These need to eliminated immediately including yoga classes for pregnant women and other junk. We need financial responsibly before raising taxes to support bogus programs. You sound like your a lib but you hold Peloski,Boxer and Feinstein accountable for none of the states problems and they are #1. Arnold is about #10.

I've been saying since 2002 IRAQ was a bad investment but CLINTON,KERRY and a ton of other dems gave the OK to go to war don't just blame Bush and listed to all this garbage.

Yes it is really to bad Alan Keyes the independent candidate didn't win who happens to be black. That is who I voted for if you must know. We might actually have a chance. I NEVER VOTED FOR BUSH IN EITHER ELECTION.

I use to think like you when I was in my early 20's but now I have a much better understanding of the libs and there socialistic agenda. Maybe you will some day also.

I actually blame our government for not upholding the laws and catering to them. I don't blame the illegals for coming over here. I would want a better life also if I was starving in Mexico. With that said do you think we should have millions of ethopians boated over here to save so you can pay for them also? As it is hospitals are closing left and right because they can't handle the burden. Heath care cost's are through the roof.

It all started the first day government offices began printing material (signs, pamphlets, applications, etc.) in other languages.

At the rate we're going, illegals will begin to turn themselves in since the country will be broke, the economy will tank, there will be no jobs left, and they can't afford to go home. "Please send me home, the land of opportunity is no more"
