Last point,
Nate - I have been trying to work with Jason (Outlaw Z) to set up the Norcal/Socal shootout in Famoso and planning it around end of March/start of April. That event would be all about racing. We will see if we can make it happen.
How far is everyone willing to travel for an event? I would love to see a CA vs. TX Shootout in the fall maybe around labor day (not to conflict with the LVCFO meet) or a bit later but we would have to do it in NM or AZ. If we could get people to travel a bit I would go post there and ask them too.

Hey you should chill out there buddy, it does sound gay but dude its a funny way man serious most people on here don't have that much of an issue with me well simply cause I don't get in peoples face and provide entertainment. We rented it out once we can do it again nate which is what i have been thinking of doing. since the last time we did it we got such a good turn out. everyone loved the idea of lining up more than 20 times to run. with less than 100 cars we could have called the event RUN TILL YOU BREAK SOMETHING DAY lol.
if enough people are really interested in this i think i can make it happen

I dont remember it being way friggin' hot at Fontana last year. It was friggin' cold up in Big Bear and it was a nice temp at Fontana the next day.
This date was chosen because its a 3-day weekend for almost all people. Very few people have a cushy gov't job where they get paid to take 100 holidays a year, so you're lucky. Also, the average temp for late May is the low 80's.
