Mine fits perfect, no knocking or rubbing on anything. It is made for our cars, not a one-off. OP can ride in the car if he would like...

if you want it loud , we can make it loud..... but the tone is different between the different exhausts..... for example the duals tend to be louder at idle and cruising, yet very loud WOT, with a deep throaty tone IMO. the big singles on the other hand tend to be quieter cruising and at idle, but at WOT very Loud once you saturate the pipe/muffler with exhaust flow, with more of a more high pitched race car tone IMO, really its your decision, but the added ground clearance and cleaner look is tough to ignore with the large single setup.

6 litre's car sounds mean in person. I have heard a td setup before and I like the sound of Mark's (6litre eater) car it has that I am a mean SOB here I come tone to it.

good for you, but a 4" isnt necessary, especially on your car. 3.5" will more than get the job done and be easier to accomplish while allowing more room for undercarriage mods

I think it has most to do with the muffler he has chosen. The Mufflex he is running is basically like a big Flowmaster, no packing or any other material to absorb sound, i'm sure it sounds very mean

Alright I'm convinced, I want to hear travie319's car, it sounded sick with just the cutout and flowmaster 80. I'm getting a body mounted torque arm, so I guess it'll be a custom deal from the collectors back.

Nah, I didn't go with the Flowmaster, they sound like ***. I'm running the Spintech... You are right about no packing though, the cam just echoes in there

Also, I fell safer with this exhaust than a 3.5". I did Mac Mids for ground clearance so I wanted to back it with as much exhaust as possible for the 150hp dry shot (on top of the cam) possibly 200hp wetshot (now that I have 42lb injectors as well)...

Does CMS do custom y pipes also? like 3" collectors to 4" single depending on what headers I buy.

cool. i think 3.5" or 4" would both work fine on that setup. nothing wrong with 4" though, I just wanted to point out to the OP that 3.5" can get the job done as well.

Probably just will come down to what he can find/what the shop has.

My true duals are going to be 3" which is WAYYY overkill BUT half of it is already built in 3" because it was a lot cheaper that way (for some reason my exhaust guy just gets 3" cheap and 2.5" is more money) so I'll just have it all finished in 3" (I'm adding an H-Pipe, two 3" SLP LM1's, dual 3" over the axle and dual out using the new tips I'm having made)...

traivie's car sounds down right wicked!, i love how lt1's sound with single 4' exhaust with a single magnaflow race series muffler.

your's is so loud because we used a small muffler and dumped it before the axle to save weight, but if you want we can continue it over the axle and run a larger muffler to quiet it down
