Sell me on a 4" single exhaust

Alright, new motor=new exhaust. I have 2.5" x pipe with dynomax bullets, but Ryne was telling me about doing a 4" single because it'll give me more ground clearance. If I stick with duals I'll be moving up to 3". I love the sound of my exhaust now, but... i already scrape the **** out of my exhaust as it is. My new 3" pipes would probably turn into 2" ovals in a week. So sell me on a 4" single. I'm thinking a magnaflow bullet muffler, its only 6" long so can't really muffle that much which is fine.

Why not over the axle...here are some pics of my exhaust.

By the way...my car is lowered somewhere between 1.2 and 1.5 inches, is daily driven and has a 9" rear. It is nice but not too loud even though it doesnt have cats. I just took the y pipe all the way to where it goes over the axle off last weekend to do the clutch, came off and went on really easy.
My car used to scrape alot before I had this exhaust. With my loudmouth it hit on everything...now only REALLY big speed bumps hit and ive only found one that hit in the last 6 months or so.

You may not be able to fit the muffler there but if you are going for a hidden exhasut tip look you can always go over the axle and dump it after the axle. Its the same effect but there is alot more room back there.

Very true...the great thing about getting the exhaust from Ryne is that he wont charge you an arm and a leg if you need to modify it. When my exhaust was installed I had the 10 bolt still, then I installed the 9" and took it to him and he took care of it and a few other issues for a killer deal.

I had tap duals on my old SS and I now have a single 3.5" exhaust w/magnate race series muffler. I will never go back to dumped duals. Dumped duals got old real quick. My car was lowered on sport lines so the exhaust scraped on everything.
I also have an e-cutout on my 3.5" single exhaust

I'll give you a good deal on my 4" Mufflex. It has dual 3" out and sounds really good. You can come hear it on the car, if you like it I'll get it taken off and my dual setup (been sitting on my porch for months) put on the next day...

GREAT ground clearance (and my car was slammed in these pics, it is higher now)...

I'll give you everything from the Flowmaster Y back CHEAP (considering it is about $700 worth of exhaust) just to give me incentive to get it off and finally do my dual setup. PM me if interested...
