honestly, i dont know what it is with the hondas and what not. its rediculous. its a bit over crowded.

we need more tracks in southern california is what we need. like one or two more would do.

Saw a few of you out there last night. As for the guy who didnt get a slip... My guess is that you didnt run at 92 mph unless you have around 430 to the wheels.. and if you did you would have to spin all the way down track to run a 8.6.. I can deffinetly see a 8.6 at 82mph to 87mph somewhere in that range.. NOt sure what mods you have but at least you got out there and experienced it. It only gets better with practice. It pays to watch for a hour or to as well.

well those 5, 6, second cars are cool but i think they should keep those cars on the trailer until the weekend. thursdays should be for street cars.

the weekend races are expensive! the track blows, and its not every weekend. thats why the street cars have street legals once a month for the daily drivers to race.. irwindale is Test n tune for everyone

The only weekend racing at Irwindale is the Summit Series which starts on 3-8-09.http://www.toyotaspeedwayatirwindale.../dragsched.asp $55 to bracket race. Lot of nice cars, good time. Last year they tried a TnT on the weekend once a month but I don't think they are doing it this year.

Mine isnt electric. I go through tech with it open and they don't say anything. My only guess is because my car is cammed, they assume it to be loud no matter what exhaust I run, but cars running a stock cam with an open cutout can be a giveaway....

I was thinking the same thing, have an electric cutout and close it going through tech then open it when you run.

my brothers cam is very very healthy i think its the headers that make it loud, but it really sucks *** to have to **** with the cutout when the exhaust is hot as hell, putting the cap on or taking it off
