the heads we got well this was like 10 years ago, were on back order, normal edelbrock performer heads for a 327 c.i, and yeah ryne you might have a good person for that, I am not saying that it is true for all shops maybe their person did, but come on you gotta admit that if there are things there you would rather wait and take your time to produce quality work rather than rush cut corners and put out crap.

Default disagree

That was a nice essay but I disagree!
If you're organized and know how to run a shop a rebuild is a 3week job.

Default sweet guy?!?

Ok so every one thinks he's the sweetest guy ever.
But I need to get some work done too. So anyone know anything about his tuning abilities?
I am full bolt on and ready for a cam ...

Yeah I have been to telegraph. But I don't roll with generales.
I been shopping around different shops
Ocgmp might be my pick but I don't have enough time to wait months for the work to be done and they don't answer the phone.
Cms seems overpriced like he is just selling the name and the owner dude Ryan seems cocky and not interested in making more business.

Danny has a very nice pewter LS1 camaro, I wish mine was as nice but hey I understand what you are saying. Good luck getting the work done on your car man, it will be nice when it comes back out all beastly and ready to murder some fools.

i am overpriced?? $250 for a street/dyno tune with free basic updates?? are you serious?? i am cocky or is just confidence in our work? i am not interested in doing more business?? how do you base your assumptions...... damn alot of haters on here, judging by your attitude i wouldnt want you as a customer, you seem impossible to please...... **** i havent even done any work with you, and i already have displeased you. i really you people would watch what you say about shops on here, because when you make comments like "cocky" and "overpriced", your messing with someone's livelyhood, if i have wrong you directly in anyway i can see a negative post..... but i havent ever even spoke to you to my knowledge.

where the hell do you get that i just work on corvettes? is it because i own a vette? is it because i have vette customers?? i have 3 f-bodies in the shop right now, one of which i am building the motor for with a supercharger. damn i didnt realized if i worked on vettes i would get Black listed by the f-body crowd...... what a joke

adam84, seriously i see you post alot, alot of what you say makes little to- no sense, your telling it takes weeks to get a basic H-beam rod?? weeks to get basic bearings/rings, do you even know much of what you preach?

Si and last I checked we were talking about h/c not built bottom end, ya know I have come to bat for you too and well thanks man really cool to see that you have peoples back who will vouch for ya I guess I should pick my friends better. No I have never turned a wrench never worked on a car. I have no idea what I am talking about you are right. Sorry I ever tried to be a cool person for everyone Ryne.

I just was stating that I have seen rods (pushrods not connecting rods) on back order especially if you are getting custom length ones, but then again I have no idea what I am talking about. and a lot of what I post is sarcast smart *** humor.
