Default Advice from Borla catback owners...

Waiting on my Borla catback to arrive...I have a 02 Z28 M6, completely stock motor wise, just wondering how many of you drive with the plate wide open, and if it's obnoxiously loud or not...i live in gated community so it can't be ridiculously loud, but i wanted to run the plate wide open so i figured i'd ask...if anyone has any sound clips, that'd be awesome. thanks in advance

If you're stock and still have cats, it really isn't loud at all. Block it off and it'll be just as quiet as stock. Now, get an ORP and leave it fully open and it'll make some noise.

Yeah, the motor is completely stock, so I'll have the plate wide open, and seeing as my community is a pain in the *** about "excessive noises" it's probably a good thing the car won't be obnoxiously loud.

Thanks for the info!
