Waitttt I know a guy in a metal band that is very current and is going on tour this year.. he drives a WS6.... So.... what does that say???
And yes metal is awesome... but i do believe the only song really involving a camaro as a the main source of the song was a old school underground punk song called bitchin camaro, by the dead milkmen

I posted a review on the article at caranddriver.com -
"You are a moron, plain and simple. Let's see if we can stereotype you, like you stereotyped Camaro owners - I'd speculate you're a mid 40's balding flab-body, who owns a Mazda and an aging BMW that runs like crap but you still drive it for the yuppie factor. In between Starbucks and surfing Harmony.com for your soulmate, you enjoy pretending to be superior to others and still live at home with your Mom. Sound about right ?"
Heh.

Its not only the Camaro comments, most of his comments were pretty dumb.
I know a lot of cars without service history. Just because someone doesnt take their car to the stealership for service doesnt mean there is something wrong with it. Not everybody is online with carfax. I know a dealer (Odonnell Chevrolet & Buick) in San Gabriel that hardly does anything. Just about all service is farmed out to other shops in the area. I think a lot of us can still work on electronic controlled ignitions.
Salvage Title: Nothing wrong with one if you know what was done to repair it. My SS was a Salvage. Insurance companies get screwed over on repair estimates. Anybody ever take a car in to get fixed and the guy asks "is this an insurance claim"? If you answered yes... cha ching price just went up. So its no wonder why some cars are salvaged when the interior and wheels have been stolen or slight front end damage. if a buyer can purchase used parts online (forums, eBay) and do the work himself, he can get a hell of a deal.
Mismatched tires, I might agree with him, but then again if someone knows they are going to be selling their car they aren't going to go out an buy brand new Michelin PS2s.
Brushstroked paint: Well thats just stupid.
Acorns in the glovebox: Again just dumb. Hell, tell you what. If you know where I can find a 58-61 Vette with Brushstroked paint job and acorns in the glovebox for a great price, tell me. I'll buy it!
