Well today I was able to remove the a.i.r. system and pump, im sure it will clean up the look of the engine bay quite a bit. I also cut off the ends of the tubes that mount to the headers and welded up the holes since I didnt have any block off plates.

Then I cut a trap door out above my fuel tank and installed my racetronix pump and hotwire kit, here is a picture before and after. I must say to anyone looking for a good pump kit this kit was a snap to install. The hardest part was getting the harness to the top of the fuel tank.

Then I made a new breather for my 9" because somehow the old one bent, so I got a small brass pipe and used a small length of hose up to a small k&n style breather zip tied up next to the fuel tank, and its a good thing it needed fixing because I noticed some issues with the rear end.

The motor is still delayed. Not sure yet when it will be ready for sure so I still have some time to finish up a few things.

Tomorrow im taking my covers and oil pan to my work to use the parts washers and clean them up before they go on the motor, then at some point ill install the koni struts on the k member before I mount the motor to it.

As soon as I get the motor ill get the pans on it and back in the car and ill be sure to take lots of pictures.

Yea thats why the kit has been sitting in my room for about a year...now since I will be spraying nitrous I want to make sure its working well, the hotwire kit will make sure of that.

Picked the motor and heads up yesterday, thing turns over very smooth. Started assembly and this morning found that arp mis packaged one nut in the package. Couldnt find anyone open and then Mike from CMS called me, mentioned he was at the shop and had a few extras. It was a good thing he called because I had just realized that I lost one of my header gaskets. SO I was able to pick them up at CMS, which really saved me.

got everything done on the motor and installed it in the car, tomorrow ill hook everything up and do some repairs on the rear end and ill have Ryne tune it on Wednesday.

Ill post some pics of the motor install later.

hey a good trick to pull up the racetronix harness when cutting an access panel, is to routs a 10 gauge wire down the cut out area to the harness connector, tape the wiring harness to the 10 gauge wire and pull it up from the top... definitely makes life a bit easier that way lol...

what size motor did you end up with?

I tried that with a few things, coat hanger, wire, ect. The coat hanger was the winning trick.

Its just a 347 with forged rods and pistons, hoping to have it running tonight.

Well come to find out CMSs dyno broke today, so I didnt get my car tuned.

At least it is running now and I can put some more miles and get the rings seated prior to the tune. The car feels great, has a little trouble under load but its still running on the old tune and alot has changed.

Hopefully the dyno will be fixed tomorrow and I can get it tuned, make it easier to drive.Ill post some pics of the install here in a few minutes.

Well the results are in!

I have an oxy sensor cutting in and out so im going back today to install a couple new denso oxy sensors and have Ryne clean up the idle a little bit.

Tha final numbers were 468 RWHP and 434 RWTQ!

I was expecting about 460rwhp and 410rwtq so that torque being up there surprised both Ryne and I.

The cars running great and has lots of power, I can tell a good difference from the old setup.

Big thanks to Ryne for staying until after 1am to get it done!
