Oil pressure problems
was the guy the original owner and had a bunch of pictures of it being delivered and ****?
he had it for sale for 5 months at 9000 then worked his way down.

do yourself a favor and read through everything in the link i posted, there are tons of different and odd reasons why people lost oil pressure. I would first start out by hooking up a mechanical valve to make sure your car is reading the pressure correctly. If you tear into it there are multiple things you can check so you dont have to keep getting back into it. Good luck

Update So I just replaced the oil pump, oil pick up tube gasket, and cam retaining plate. Oil pressure didn't change much. So I advised ArcticSLPSS to look for a new short block. Ether a new LS1 block or a 6.0 iron block.
he should grab a 6.0 so he can use the 4" bore.

Did you check the welsh plug while the front cover was off? If its not sealing properly the oil pressure will drop due to the oil being drained back into the oil pan.
Did you check the tolerance? I ask because I know he said the engine was built, This plug is removed while machine work is being done to clean out the main oil gallery and it has happend. Thats why some of us add a little bit of insurance to that

. No I didn't check the tolerance. And sadly the car is all buttoned back up now.

Yeah saving for a 6.0 or 5.7 wish I new this sooner when someone was selling 2 6.0s for like 500 lol right now that same guy has a 5.7 for 450 but said it's dirty n needs a light hone how much that **** cost cause if alot I'm not getting it
