Maybe your valve stem is bent, maybe a bad rocker arm or bolt, maybe a bad spring seat, retainer, or locks, maybe a bent pushrod...

it's gotta be in the valvetrain... take the valve cover back off, pull the rocker, pull the pushrod... check them over real well. If you can't see anything there, you probably gotta pull the head and start looking at the valves, and maybe even the lifters?

Or maybe a leak down test could tell you if you had a warped/bent valve. Not sure, just throwing that out there.

what type of retainers... floating valve can beat up a titanium retainer quickly... when you remove the valve spring assembly, check the underside of the retainer face for excessive wear...may be an issue where the retainer is not allowing the valve spring to rotate in the spring cup, and harmonics are beating it to death..
could also be a worn valve guide allowing the valve to rock. but usually if that is the case the valve wont have a good seal on the seat..

O.K Guys I have my **** taken apart..... I checked for Push rods, Rocker arms, retainers look good and locks..... My valve stem is not bent but... Theres this blue i would say it looks like an o rig that goes around the botom of valve stem stretch out... wont go back in place...!! maybe a seal.....? ?? idk.. wouldnt think how that would get me a broken spring... but who knows..
Am starting to think it might be a lifter or something..... wouldnt know untill i pull the head off..!!
It happens everytime i **** arround and give it high rpm afther 2 or 3 good pulls... then am driving normal and in a day or two my car starts missfiring... i take the vale cover off and the same broken spring..!!
Do you guys think it might be a lobe on the cam..???

is it the same valve that kissed the piston the first time?

i told you, buy hardened pushrods also

one way to check the valve is to pull the head...

Fixing it now will probably end up saving you more money in the long run. I'd pull the head. No better time to install some 243's.

Did they machine your heads? Do you use valve shims? Your getting coil bind somehow where the spring is too short. Valve stem, pushrods and rockers wouldnt cause that. Its something where the spring sits or how it was installed. Check all your spring heights.
