I am bringing a group of Vettes/F-bodies/GTO's from Vegas down this winter to run. Was wondering if Famoso or Infineon is more lenient on roll cages etc? We want to come down with a big group but many of the cars are street cars. Also what DA's do you usually see at those tracks in the winter? Thanks for any help.
Check out Autoclub Speedway http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tick...-Calendar.aspx
Scroll down for more months. It's under NHRA Street Legal Drags. Not sure what the requirements are, but I heard that depending on your time, depends if you need a roll cage, helmet, drive shaft loop, etc. Give 'em a call, they may be able to help you. Hope this helps.

people usually race on it, but every time Ive been people use it to break their car and then pour fluids all the way down the track
If you can wait until the end of January, I'm renting out Fontana and putting on a racing event.

Fontana is pretty strict...
U may just want to take it to 1000' and then shut it down.... should give you some time slips that are above 9 sec, yet you can still figure out your expected 1/4 from the data...
Just an idea..

+1 on Sacramento Raceway. There pretty easy on Tech'n in. I run low 11s and they don't say **** to me. There's people I've seen run faster trapping over 160 and they don't even say anything about a shoot.

You can rent the track. They charge about $5k for a full day on weekend. That includes prep etc. So get 50-75 cars at $75-$100 each and youll have it covered.
When I rented the track last year, it was a huge pain and alot of work.
DA's are normally 1250-1750 during the winter.
