Exactly, I want the lighter valves. My cam will have over .610"/.617" lift and I will be using Patroit Extreme .660" springs. Just wanted the lighter valves just because.

Correct, I don't know where the idea of a 382/383 came from, lol.

The red z28? It moves, but it's still not faster than my cammed LT1. He needs a LS6 intake manifold and cam, then he'll really be moving.

Yeah, TexZ is the owner of the car in the thread that I read about. That's what made me want to build this engine. I absolutely love his dyno results, so I'm going to build the same thing.

12.65 @ 116.67, 2.2 60' is not bad...good for 11's with traction.

ya that setup is easily good for 11's, when i was reading that i was suprised it only went 116.67 that car easily has 120+ in it with good air and a better launch. I guess it was not a good run. That car should be lots of fun when it is done, i am sure it will suprise lots of vettes and cobras.

Actually I'm quite surprised with the cars I beat now, and they actually are confused when I tell them all I have is a CC503 cam, headers, TB, and tune. Still have the stock 2OTL catback too. Car runs strong, I was able to trap 87.20 in the 1/8th at Irwindale.

Don't I know it. Things will be happening soon. Hopefully should be done in about a month and we'll see how it moves.

That trans needs a rebuild. I think I might just use my LT1 T56 and have it converted and upgrade all the forks, synchros, and keys.

Well I won't be going with a carb and single plane, but you can see the power potential of these heads with a well assembled engine. Also as a FYI for those that don't know, L92/LS3 heads require a 4" bore or larger, which is why you have to use a LQ4/9, LS2, or LS3 engine.
