I graduated from Cal Poly SLO two years ago and I still miss it every single day! Enjoy your time up there while you can!
Now I'm down in Studio City and it's cool, but no where near as nice as SLO.

I'm here in slo too. My car is at home though as it is mainly a track car. I used to have a white ws6 here my first year here but had sell it because roads jsut beat it up. Pro kit plus catted y scrapped everywhere. Anyways drive a black on black lifted single cab silverado. I see a couple ls1 cars around but not many.

haha, yeah I plan on doing the five year plan here, it's just so great I don't want to leave... lol. Nah, would like to get out in four, but between how the economy is and having to work 20-25 hours a week, I'll be planning on five.
And I know what you guys mean about the roads. My car's not even lowered yet (BMR springs sitting at home) and I already have to plan my routes out to avoid certain sections of town haha.

Yea especially that entrance in to where albertsons and rite aid are off foothill. My car is not lowered and i have to go really slow and be at almost parallel with the entrance so that i dont scrape.

Just checkin in here. I don't have an Fbody anymore... sold that BEAST a few summers ago (see sig).
All I got now is my '01 Silverado and '09 Yamaha R1. I'm an Aero grad student at Poly as well, hopefully finishing up by this fall.... lol
If any of you need help with installs and stuff let me know. I built 427 for the Camaro and I'm about to rebuild the 5.3L in my truck. This stuff is fun as hell!

I go to Cal Poly. 5th year IT student out of here in June. Drive a Red Z28 1LE with basic mods but only put on 100 miles all quarter as it sits in my car port covered most of the time. Anyways let me know if there are any meets coming up I may be down depending on my schedule...

Not that big of a fan of SLO.... I don't know been there couple times & just didn't see what the big hype was? (I live in Santa Barbara for school) But I got couple friends there. One has a blue WRX, red 96 Mustang with black wheels, & the others have lifted trucks.

I'm still around, finishing out my last year here and hardly ever come on tech anymore. What year are you guys? I've seen the nbm around, but don't think I've seen the nova. I bike to school so you'll hardly see me in the camaro, and I'm back on some stock TA takeoffs instead of the HP's.

Yep, I'm still around too... except I graduate tomorrow. I'll be around the slo area for another 6 months or so.
Apparently there was a car club at Cal Poly. I asked around and several people didn't have anything good to say about it. They told me a bunch of ricers meet up and rev their engines. I'll have to check it out myself and do some burnouts on their carbon fiber hoods.
You know anything about this "club?"
