I'm about to graduate our local POST basic academy but it doesn't seem like there are any Jobs out there, anyone here in an agency that's hiring?

L.A.P.D is still hiring. I know that for a fact, just the academy classes are cut back, because of budgets. LA Sheriff, I'm Not sure. San Diego is hiring a few, not sure if they are Sheriff or not.
I would tell you CHP, but that P.O.S.T. your gonna get means nothing in West Sacramento.
Border Patrol is hiring but not sure how to get on there.

LOL the guy that said the POST isnt good for west sacramento is making me laugh. And yes CHP has their own academy but you want to be a cop right? lol. San Bernardino is tight right now but last I heard we were putting 25 deps thru the next academy so they are still hiring. Check into it.

Laterals are always looked at as better options but I think SBSD is kinda locked down on that too. Kumbaya sounds fun nalmak lol. I knda feel bad for you having to play with Riverside SO tho. I had a few Riverside county PD officers in my academy and they were a lil different lol.

We went on a stop, for a wrong lane driver in the Home Gardens area. Get out, Suburban packed with 15-19 yr old. Driver was 17, thought he was a deuce, but he was not, just inexperienced. The officer bent his ear on the dangers of driving confused, and how you should park and look around than DRIVE and look around. The officer saw something he didn't like in the back seat, and told everyone to put their hands up, I was a ride-a-long, and I was at the front passenger window, collecting info from the passenger, then I see the officer pull his gun and say reach for the sky. So me being a civi I had no gun, but they didn't know that, I pretended that I had it conceled, because I didn't want to get shot. As I look back to the squad car, I see 3 cruisers of RSO and one undercover car. The U.C. was with Gang Task force. They had REAL Guns so I let them take the position, i was at. When that happened I was like "this is too much fun"
