Looks like they 'washed' it with brillo pads and dish soap... He did a great job!

I answered that 2 posts up...Eric quotes everything individually though so every case/car is different...

Funny you should mention that actually. Eric actually did a massive correction on a car that the owner HAD washed using brillo pads! This is how I first heard of Eric/Envious Auto Detailing...

Take a look - http://www.autopia.org/forum/pro-det...-pad-audi.html

wow that audi... i would charge 750 minimum for that kind of work with the rotary, probably more because the pictures don't tell 100% of the story. He did a nice job on the GTP, a good detail is always money well spent

a quick question... now that you had that detail work done... is there any upkeep? for instance, if you dont wash and wax it every wekend, will it return to its previous state quickly?

The only way it would return to its previous state is if I started washing it with a brillo pad ...it will get washed weekly and waxed monthly and that should maintain the paint. I'll probably have Eric @ Envious do a 1 step polish once a year to keep it looking perfect, but it won't need compounding again unless I wreck it (which I won't like the previous owner did)...
