Thumbs up Miraculous change to my GTP

Hi all,

I have received some PM's about my car so I figured I'd make a quick thread to show everyone.

I got a nice deal on my GTP but the paint was hammered. I had a 3 step compound and polish done by a very talented local detailer.

The before and after pics - http://www.autopia.org/forum/pro-det...-new-life.html

It's my car actually, the wife drives a Saab 9-7x (SUV)...I sold the Impala SS this past summer...

It really looks as if the original owner (I just bought the car from them) took the thing through a drive thru car wash every day for the past 9-10 years...the car was really gray before the detail!

That's pretty cool. I should really do that to my Impala SS. My wife also has a 9-7x 5.3

Nice, my wife loves her 9-7 (it's also a 5.3, black on black, all options but nav)...and the Saab CPO warranty is awesome!

I highly recommend Eric and his detail work...you will not be disappointed!

Nicely done. It came out great. These cars look good when cleaned up nicely. I enjoy my grand prix as a daily driver. Its nice to see another grand prix owner in the area. You should come over to GPONA. I have the same screen name there. Keep up the good work.

Exceptional results!! I have a black '87 Mercedes (250K miles) that is kinda nice. I've been thinking about doing the clay/wax job on it, but yours looks SOOO great, I'll attack the Benz this weekend.

Thanks for the posting!

For those that are asking, I did not do the detail myself, the gentleman who started that thread did it. He owns a local detail company called Envious Detailing (http://www.enviousautodetailing.com/). As for the products, I have no idea, he brought all of his own stuff.

His details start at around $125 or so, but a 3 step like that will typically run in the $500 range. He and I negotiated a price based on cutting certain things out etc. that would help to shave a bit off of that. It was far and away the best money I have ever spent on a vehicle!
