my car aint getting a lsx swap thats for sure lol. its a factory v8 5speed car and the last year they was built, and its prolly the last ssp dso coupe made i cant verify that for sure though.

i have been in the hunt for a while looking for a notch like yours or kornerz they look nice light as hell and will kick *** with a lsx, sure you can play witht he stock v8 302 but won't get you as fast as the lsx bro

Smog Thoughts it smogged. Cause I put one into a 85 El Camino not sure yet if the ref will pass it.
Calif law says you can't put a truck engine into a car
if the truck has a GVW of 6000# or more.
Mine came out of a 05 1500, SilveradoGVW 6100.
I am going to argue if need be that the El Camino is a truck.
Any thoughts or if I can be of help, let me know......

it smogged. Cause I put one into a 85 El Camino not sure yet if the ref will pass it.

Since 1999 when I did my first conversion, we have installed approx 40 complete LS swaps into 1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen 67-97 camaro/firebird fbodies, A-body (64-72 chevelle, gto, lemans etc), c2/c3/c4 corvettes, Jeeps/Offroad/Sandrails, 67-72 chevy trucks, 88-97 chevy pickups, 1st/2nd/3rd gen RX7's, 240/270/280z's, 62-72 Novas and a several 79-04 mustangs.
