I try to avoid Mobil and Arco.
Chevron and 76 are the best in my opinion. My car runs a lot better when I fill up at those places.

most gas stations only really have 2 grades of gas. 87 and 93 unless they have 100+. 89 or 91 is only reg gas. the way you can usally tell is when a gas station is getting filled see how many hoses are going into the under ground tanks.

Well here in CA, 91 is premium. Most gas stations, it seems like, lost 92 a few years back. Maybe in CA regulations make it so 91 is actually 91, and not 87 like in your state? I don't know. Just throwing it out there.

Yeah, there's a Circle K by where I live. I've used it ocasionally when it is the closest and cheapest like I mentioned before. They seem to have low prices too. 91 here as well.

Chevron and Shell near the places I go to, Mobile if I see it (can't think of any off the top of my head), and QT if I need gas and none of these are around.

That's awesome. But my Camaro doesn't have stock compression.

I never said anything about compression until this post. I'm just ******* with you. You're getting too riled up for nothing. You already know LSXs are the **** that's why you're upgrading to one.

Have you calculated a monthly difference of using Chevron vs. Arco?

I used Shell this week on my work truck and it lasted me 1/4 tank longer. Usually in 2 days I use almost 3/4 of a tank but I was still at 1/2. Now I gotta try Shell inthe Vette.

you would say that it was specifically the switch from chevron gas to arco gas that caused your car to mess up?

it would be interesting to try that test tho..
