Default C5 z06 rim question...

Just curious, does anyone make a 17"x11" C5 z06 rim or is modifying one the only option?

no vendor sells 17x11 rims so it would need to be modified.

here's a random post I found.

Anyone know the approximate cost of widening a rim?

$150-$200 EACH. They do make C6 Z06 in 18x12 although I don't know how they fit on a f-body

Jas why you wana stick with 17's? They used to make an 18 x 12 C5 zo6, you just gota get lucky enough to find them. And you can make them fit out back without having to mini tub, it just takes a lot of massaging.

I love zr1's also, but 18's ftw my friend, I'm changing mine out soon as the feds come through! 18 x 9.5 / 18 x 12 cyber metallic grey.

They don't make the C5 Z06 18x12 wheels any more and when there up for sale they bring a pretty stupid premium. Now it's all about the 18x12 C6 Z06 wheels but the offset is 59mm instead of the 64 that was the C5 Z06

I already know 18"x12" rims will fit on a Fbody. We installed the very same z06 rims on my buddy's '97 z28 with the BFH mod and rolled fenders.

^ no one ever dare to try to teach srj anything, unless you want it to be the last thing you do before he smashes you with his iron fist.

Sportlines, adj PHB, tubed control arms and a hammer. There, the secrets out
In Jasons case I would just pay the money for the widening of an OE 17x9.5
