Default Need advise

I had a race with this RT like about a month ago, I won by around 1 1/2 - 2 cars. Now he wants to run for money and from a dead stop.... He has a stick shift and so do I. But honsetly I suck at launching don't wanna spin out. Any advise on how to perfect my launches with minor wheel spin? I'm on street tires and so is he

Good **** guys. Well I don't wanna get tires cause I can hear my rear end already going out and I don't wanna break the thing yet. It's a challenger so yea it's pretty heavy. He seems way to confident on his car now. This is the one I had said he has 396RWHP

Throw on some tire and with the money you win, you can pay off the tires, or buy a new rear end, or both. Just break it and get a new one. They aren't that expensive. Dig races on street tires are a waste of time to me.

I don't see why it's insane. Not like no one has done it. Yeah I know that u want to get a better launch, but hey I can't afford even a mcdonalds meal. Haha. I think he will also be on street tires so if he is then I might just do it. If he is on slicks I'm calling it off.

If you can't afford mcdonalds you shouldn't be wasting gas or trying to break your rear end.

Well all my friends are putting the money. I'm not putting nothing, and the mcdonalds thing was a little over the top. Lol. Rear end is still under warranty with the dealer. Not that dumb you guys.

like people said, best thing to do is a lot of practice. For my car, i rev it to about 1500 and then slip the clutch as i give it some gas. works ok. you have to find the balance of spinning and hooking for the best 60 on the street.

Might not happen. But if it does I'll let you know. He wants to race for 1500 but he said he is going to run with slicks, and I have none.

For 1500 dollar race, I'd buy some. Think of them as an investment.

Get a good drag radial or slick depending on what kind of power you are making..
