so what if someone owns multiple cars? do they have to get one for every car? I wonder how that thing would work on an older car without a computer. Also it says it won't shut down the car. It will just blast the horn and flash the lights to let everyone know you're drunk.

^^^LOL, that's funny.

What about bikes, lol, have that big bulky handheld thing hanging down?
You could just borrow and drive a different car. Seems like it would be a hassle to use that thing. *Assuming you've learned your lesson and weren't ever going to be stupid enough to drive drunk again*

Good thing I always have a DD or wait at least one hour for every drink before I even consider driving home.

yea i have a feeling that alot of these laws will be BS and not make sense but i am glad to see that they are being more serious about drunk driving.

That's pretty cool, although I'm sure they would be easy to bypass.
"Hey buddy, I'll give you $20 to blow into this thing..."

possibly incorporate a citation/fee for assisting a drunk driver make it a price that would hurt your pocket so not even a hot bitch would be worth it... maybe lol

What if it's an emergency? This is retarded IMO. I'm already thinking about ways to bypass it. Lol

One guy from my class was a repeat offender and said that he and his buddies got wasted one night awhile after he had the IID installed. While drunk he had the great idea to show his other drunk buddies how the car wouldn't turn on no matter what they tried. One of these assclowns even tried the penies in the mouth myth. ...

.... What the owner didn't realize was that the IID data logs everything. Kinda like computer software that records key strokes. So when he brought the car in to have the data downloaded (Every 6 weeks at $89 a pop)... It basically looked like he had been trying to drink and drive. ... He had to go to court to explain!.... What an ordeal that must have been.

What emergency, they need more beer? lol

A drunk driver + someone who is in a hurry would be a bad combination.

lol that's how it starts and is probably how the offender got a DUI the first place.

Would you rather be stuck somewhere because your car won't start, or risk being pulled over and getting another DUI? Or worse, if you get in an accident and you test positive for alcohol that would be an even bigger mess.

There is always an option to call a cab too. I still think it's a good idea.
