Default SoCal members - I'm planning a trip down there for detailing *come inside*

Attention socal members. I've received a LOT of requests for detailing in your area and will be planning a trip down there in the next month or two to take care of several cars. However I need a large group of cars to make the trip from the Bay Area worth it. So I'll be starting a sign up list in here per the suggestion of another member.

This will likely be sometime in mid-late August. Final dates are TBD based on how many sign up and can coordinate their schedules. I will be offering 3 different service packages while i'm down there to keep things simple. These packages can be adjusted slightly on the day of, but in order to keep things simple on here I will just be listing 3 options. Also because I will have to stay in a hotel during my visit, my prices will have to cover that as well. There is the option of letting me crash at your place until I go to the next member's house and that will help keep the cost down as well. Deposits will be taken a few days in advance to secure your spot. Prices reflect F-bodies and Corvettes. If you have something else the price will be adjusted up or down accordingly.

These are the dates I'm looking at: August 21-28. Though I may stay till the 30th if there are enough people.

Package 1:

-pre-wash foam and soak
-wash
-claybar
-vacuum
-clean windows
-interior wipedown
-clean wheels and tires
-dress tires
-polish exhaust tips (if applicable)
-1 coat of Opti-Seal on wheels for protection
-1 coat of your choice (Zaino, Blackfire Wet Diamond, Opti-Seal topped with OCW, or Meguiar's #16 *rare*. Optional $65 upgrade: Swissvax Concorso)

Time involved: 5-7 hours. I can do 2 of these in one day generally
$250

Package 2:

-Everything in Package 1, plus
-leather cleaned and conditioned
-1 stage of Paint Correction to remove 50-70% of swirls and scratches
-2 coat of your choice (Zaino, Blackfire Wet Diamond, Opti-Seal topped with OCW, or Meguiar's #16 *rare*.) or single coat of Swissvax Concorso ($65 upgrade).

Time required: 8-11 hours. I can do one per day.
$380

Package 3:

-Everything in package 1 & 2, plus
-2 stages of Paint Correction to remove 80-95% of swirls and scratches to achieve near perfect results and substantial gloss.
-2 coat of your choice (Zaino, Blackfire Wet Diamond, Opti-Seal topped with OCW, or Meguiar's #16 *rare*.) or single coat of Swissvax Concorso ($65 upgrade).

Time required: 13-15 hours. This is a TWO day job.
$580

Again, if you are able to put me up at your house for the night, I will take the cost of the hotel off your price, so deduct ~$80.

If you'd like to see examples of my work, just check out some of my detail threads I've started.

I have a C5 corvette and really would only want to have the swirl and scratch removal done. Dont need any of the other stuff done. I have my car detailed on a regular basis so its very clean.

Would you want one stage of paint correction or two? One stage would be about 200, and 2 stages 325.

Other than cleaning the dash, I don't use any products to dress the dash. I'm not a fan of they shiny look, and it impairs visibility when the sun hits it and reflects on the windshield, and it attracts dust.

I don't think I'm going to buy anything but if its okay with you I'd love to stick around and just watch one of the days you work in an effort to learn from one of the best.

I don't have any problem with that. Though you will have to coordinate with whoever I'm working with that day to see if they are cool with it. You are more than welcome to watch, but I don't really have time to teach or talk much....it really slows things down. I'd be down to chat afterwards though. Thank you for the kind words

Ok guys I'm doing the final coordination of this trip today and tomorrow and the schedule will be pretty set. Thanks for letting me post here. If anyone decides last minute they want some work done, call my cell and if I'm still in the area maybe I can fit you in.
