i think the bay area guys only vary from around 4-500 if im not mistaken. Ive had Rick@Synergy tune two of my cars so far, and my third will be going to him soon. He did a tune on my lid, catback, gears 02, and gained 17rwhp and it drove much better than the stock tune!

Lol sorry...umm...avoid Goodies! That help? Anyway, most places I've seen/heard about cost about the same. Actually I paid more for the **** tune from Goodies than I did at Synergy. Are you a member of any local car clubs? They usually know a lot of places and reputations.

9 times out of 10 your not going to get a quality/proper tune for less then $500, unless the tuner is running a special of some kind.... but go find someone who will do it cheap.... but you will likely get a cheap result.... pay a little more now, or pay alot more later... up to you

I agree with Ryne @ CMS, I had my car tuned by what I thought was a good tuner in Bakersfield twice for $300 and the car still doesn't run right. I would have been $100 bucks ahead if I had taken it to reputable shop.
