Unhappy Exhaust shops dont wanna work on my car

Hello, I live in San Diego by SDSU. I recent removed my true duals because they wouldnt fit with an aftermarket torque arm. The parts I have are 3" to 4" flowmaster collector, 4" qtp cutout, and 3" magnaflow catback. I need a custom ypipe made and the two shops I called said no after I answered their question, "where are the cats?"

Can anyone help me out? im looking for a shop in San Diego that does clean work so I can give my money to! Dont really want to drive the car too far as its sitting with straight headers, cant be too good on the engine.

thanks!

I would say in-person would yield better results.

Yeah. I went to a few around my area for quotes and they didn't say anything, other than cash only and nice car lol.

I have a place I go to, they won't talk over the phone but they do it when I get there just fine, cash only. Only thing that sucks is they don't mandrel bend.

I was thinking in person would be best, since ANYONE can call over the phone to get people in trouble.

If you could PM the exhaust shops in San Diego, that would be appreciated.

thanks for all input guys!

I'll PM you my exhaust guy too.

Quick question, did you have any work done while you were back up in Salinas? My little brother needs a shop to work in his SS back home.

Warner muffler shut me down in person and my vehicle didn't have to worry about vs emissions.

Go see my buddy paul at RPM exhaust in la mesa! He will hook you up for a great price. He does great work. custom built my exhaust with an e-cutout hooker catback and i run an ORY. You will not be disappointed with his work or his prices for sure!

I actually have been to rpm before. I needed a rubber piece for my old true duals a while back. Cool guy. So recently I googled rpm and the number listed online is disconnected.

Graduated a while back from SDSU, but decided to stay in SD (happens alot I hear ), went to Carmel High but had friends at Salinas HS and Palma HS.

My little brother has a 2000 SS vert. back home and seems he's had some issues with some of places he's taken his car to. He's been working on suspension stuff recently.

Appreciate any suggestions you have that I can forward him and good luck with the exhaust work, sounds like you've got alot of options to pursue now.
