Yeah, it fits no problem. Doesn't rub at all. The stock tires are like 26.7" tall.

They don't make a 24" bias ply tire for a 16" wheel. I wanted to go with a 24.5" ET drag on a 15" wheel, but there is no way in hell a 15" wheel will fit. I had to grind the **** out of the brakes to fit a 16" wheel. haha

Sorry bro but I wanna see the time slips. My friend has a 2003 Maxima and is one helluva driver and my oldass LT1 that's on its last legs puts several car lengths on him. Given he has the 3.0 which is 30-40hp less than yours but so does my LT1 compared to LS1s.

You might say yours has "low end grunt" but so does my LT1. If low end grunt by itself could get a 13.3 I'd be doing that right now.

I've seen this maxima pull on my best friends old '94 z28 that was healthy as an ox on the freeway by 2 cars..and the lt1 wasn't gaining any of that ground back.

It was a '94 Z, automic with mid-length headers and full exhaust and in a great state of tune. That son of a bitch maxima surprises alot of people.

Wow! The AFR 195's that I want to get also flow 280cfm, and those are $1500.

If your friend really has an 03, then he has the 3.5 which is the EXACT same motor as me. You have to remember that my car only traps 100mph. Your LT1 probably traps higher.

Also, I never said my car has "low end grunt"

Here is the slip and some pics of the car:

Time slip is hard to see, but I am in the right lane.
Here is the same slip with inverted colors, helps to see the numbers a little better on my monitor.

lol dude you missed my point. I didn't race a 3.5, I raced a 3.0. I'm assuming if a LT1 is so much faster than a 3.0, then why wouldn't an LS1 be faster than a 3.5?

I didn't say you did. Someone else did...I said you might.

He has the 3.0. Maybe it's a lower model but I know for sure it's a 5th gen Maxima. He can drift that thing all day. He drives with one hand on steering wheel and the other on the hand brake. lol.

For what it is it's a quick car but it's hard to see how an extra 40 or so HP could possibly make it fast enough to be beating LS1s. Then again you have those bolt ons. It must've been pretty restricted to have gone that far with bolt ons though.

I take it your claim's legit but man that's pretty crazy. I remember when your generation of Maxima came out some car magazines while amazed at how fast it was complained it's no faster than the older one. I guess the 3.5 and 3.0 difference is day and night then.

I can vouch for the quickness of this Maxima, it has beaten a full bolt-on 350Z. ***** legit lol.

Good work Trent, that's awesome. Maybe one day my car will make a 1/4 pass so I can stick the 11 second club badge under my name here lol.

The 5th gen is a split year. 2000-2001 had the 3.0. 2002-2003 had the 3.5.

Have you ever been to the track? People are running mid 13s to high 13s all day in LS1 camaros. How you ask? They can't drive for ****. lol

It really is, I'll rape a 3.0 maxima. lol

Thanks Adam! All you gotta do is take it to famoso and hit the gas. Should run an 11 there.

AmirGTR, I have seen you post twice now in two different threads... Both times I wondered why you even posted.

A well driven ls1 with intake/exhaust/radials will be in the mid 12s. He is running barely faster than stock ls1s that are running street tires (spinning) and bone stock. If he put tires back on I would imagine he would be running very very high 13s... Take the other mods off and he is back in the 14s.

Before you post, think.

Nice times OP... That would **** a lot of people off.
