Help...
Help... I've been noticing that my car alarm is going ON by itself... Especially after locking the car. I've been driving the car thru rain and I was wondering if something electrical got damaged thru the rain... Any input would be appreciated. THANKS.
I had this same problem when I first got my Z28. Alarm would go off after locking it, and I would have to hit lock one more time to shut off the horn.
Ended up grabbing one of the modules that plugs in where the spare tire jack is from a v6 while at the junkyard one day just as a what the hell idea. Fixed the problem.
Maybe something got wet, or the module just plain old went bad. That's how it was with mine.
If you've got another camaro, or a friends, just ask to swap them real quick.
