I got one of those but they didn't take my car. And I extended it as long as possible and when the time came to fight it, the cop didn't show.

 

just go to traffic school. youll pay the whole fine but it wont be on your record. your lucky its just speeding and not exhibition of speed or wreckless driving

 

All of them overact throughout any dept. in southern california from my experience.

I've been pulled over in plenty of places, and I've had one cop be respectable out of at least 20 times having been pulled over in the past 5 years, and that guy should have given me a ticket.

I've been told to shut up after they asked me if I understand what they've just told me, I've had a cop tell me I had just took a turn in my 06 Mustang going over 45mph(hell no it's not gonna make a straight right turn without any wheel squeel, much less it being possible going that speed).

Two other ones were this one cop that pulled me over, gave me a ticket for not using my signal(I use it everywhere, even when coming home down streets where there are no other cars, force of habit) and then 15 minutes later I get pulled over from a cop telling me I was speeding. He didn't realize my friends were the ones in the car behind me that he flew up next to and stared at them. Proceeded to yell at me for taking off when he almost rear ended me.

I could say at least 3 other times I remember very clearly where I be as respectful as possible, and they're just ******* ********, especially this one time a cop was talking to this woman while he was trying to stop traffic and telling me I should've went over some double solid lines to go in the direction opposite of him.


IMO they're all ******* jerks, if you see a nice one, it's rare. I still act polite right away, but from saying things like I'm a drug dealer and bringing a k9, to even seeing a cop standing in front of my house at night on my security camera and telling me to get my *** in my house as he walks down the street because I spotted him. They can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

 

Wait!!! You saw a cop on your block out side your house??? & when you saw him he yelled at you?? Wtf thats scary and insane!! To be honest see ing the way they act and treat people makes me wanna be one so I can be that rare cop that is not a dick,!!!

 

XD i've been at Fresno state for 3 months, I came back to my home town for a month... Small Town cops seem to be the biggest ********... a Cop pulled me over for driving next to my friend with our windows rolled down talking (he hasn't seen me in 3 months...)... My friend was driving a fuel efficient CRX (not a farter) and he says "I herd u guys were racing at the lights" All we did was pull up to eachother to establish a meeting place so we can hang out n joke around... both got competition of speed tickets... waiting for court because i am fighting it... Luckily my car didn't get towed... no radar speed... he deliberately said "I did not see you, but I herd loud noises" my car is loud i'll admit that, i even told the officer my car is normally loud (i'd prefer noise pollution over competition of speed). He did not pull me out of my car or anything, almost pit maneuvered me when i was pulling into a parking lot to park, him and his buddy though total dicks...

 

Yea, scared the **** out of me because it was around 3-4 am, I glance over to the monitor, and see someone just standing there on the camera in the street, staring at the house.

Just sat there for about a minute looking at the monitor and him. I get up and walk to the door.

He does one of those,"durr *act like you were checking something else out*" and looks up like an idiot. I told him can I help you and he tells me,"Get back in the house" with one hell of an attitude. I step to the driveway, and see his car parked about half a block down the street, in the middle of the street, with all the lights off.


Edit:Reason him just standing there scared me is I've got this small fear of looking out a window, or the monitor, and just seeing something freakish looking right back at me. For reference, picture the king of the hill episode where dale looks at his security cam, and that puppet of bobby is staring at him and he starts freaking.

Ya I know the episode...lol that would scare me too..maybe he was a dirty cop and wanted to jack your ride?? <- lol jk ...

 

I've narrowed it down to the local ops either thinking I'm a drug dealer, or run some sort of chop shop. It's because of all the cars that come and go. Just got rid of a Z32 TT, SS camaro, a 5.0 mustang and a 4.6, meanwhile a 68 SS/RS, and a 69 Firebird have shown up.

They've resorted to wasting my time and having a k-9 unit search my car the last time I got pulled over.

 

I had the same thing happen when i was 18. pulled out of a street turning left and punched it to about 60 in my 99 T/A. about a mile down the road i was pulled over by a sherrif, it hapens he was in the parking log of the street i pulled out of (so i did it right in front of him)
He wrote me up for exhibition of speed (burning out/spinning tires), the speed listed on the ticket was 25 in a 55. 2 points on my record for 10 years. some insurance companys wont take me because of it (allstate) my current insurance doesnt count anything over 3 years old.
I did extensions and pled guilty with explanation, i said there was sand in the road from the morning (cold area, sanded roads in winter, fine once the sun comes up) got the fine lowered to $200 from like 480, but still got the points.

So if its exhibition of speed its 2 points and thats the one that hurts, but if its speeding that wont be as bad. you can always fight it and he might not show up in court.
The one time a cop thought i was trying to "evade" him, he made me drop my keys out the window, put me at gunpoint, handcuffed me and put me in his patrol car til my parent got there (17 just got off work 10pm) I pulled over as soon as i heard his siren (must have been cuz i was 17 in an 89 iroc lol)

Things i did being young and dumb No tickets in over 3 years (knock on wood) Good luck to you and i hope its not exhibition of speed.

 

Nothing wrong with opening your car up! **** them take their asses to court fight that ****! Even if he does show up what's his proof? Unless if he clocked you! or followed you for i believe it is 1/4 mile to pace you he has a weak *** case.. Then If he claims you were getting sideways,burning the tires his going to make himself look weaker!

 

Supposedly cops are trained to be able to closely estimate the speed of a vehicle visually. So even though there was no radar used to determine your exact speed, the cops testimony will hold up in court that your were exceeding the speed limit. Plus he indicated you spun the tires, so that's something else the judge will consider when determining the charges.

 

True but he didnt estimate **** because there no speed limit writing on his ticket...

 

It doesn't matter, the cop indicated he was speeding so that will stand up in court.

 

Damn..i hate that..but it says burn out at 711..i did not burn out bad at all...and I left 711 parking lot and was about 100+ ft from 711 s drive way...and I guess thank god he only put speeding...but no he did no clock or radar ****...to be honest I dont even think he saw ****...i think he just heard it looked around and saw me..but idk..will see..and to be honest my tires chirp second with me barley pushing the gas..i like it but sometimes it seems like I am racing when I am not...i have 275 nittos with about 50% thread left... And its bull cuz he over reacted..i mean I always try and look around b4 I do stuff like that, and he did not come up until I was stopped at the red light...so how could I evade ****?? I was fully stopped lol..

 

The best thing to do is ask for supervision and driving school. You'll still have to pay the fine but the ticket won't go on your record if you don't get any more tickets in the time period set by the judge. I've done that quite a few times and it's usually the best option.
