Hey guys can I ask you all to do something for me?

Chris was good enough to set up a facebook page for the event. If you have a facebook page can you go to it here http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=194569467221359 and send it out to you buddies who are car guys and invite them.

I certainly appreciate it.

P.S. I am very close to adding an auto cross and I think i may have picked up a stunning model (don't tell my wife lol).... for the event.

Ok, as of this morning, the Ayers Inn is still not acknowledging their association with the LA Invasion and denies having a preferred rate. Went on and made reservation anyway.
Like Chis says its a nice hotel w/ good breakfast. And even at the regular rate its a fair price. Figured I could argue about the rate later when I got there. (I am much more effective 'in person')

Rates quoted were Fri & Sat $89 and Sun $119.

Hmmm I may have to switch hotels. I think I will give Mark a day or two to see if he can straighten them out. I stayed at the Hampton the 1st year I went. It's just as nice as the Ayers, tho the breakfast is not as good.

Ayres gave me $79 for all 3 nights. I hope Mark can work it out...so all the Bay Area people can stay in the same hotel. Oh yeah...PARTY in my room Saturday night!

The hotels are close to each other so we should have no problems getting to and tearing up Chris's room

Hey Guys as far as the hotel situation. I have 2 listed on the new website. The first is the Aryes where we stayed last year.

The second is where AZ F body booked last year.

The hotels surround the Ontario Mills Mall and are what I call "Stumbling Distance" apart.

I called around and was unable to get last years rate of 69 anywhere. and I could not get a bigger block of rooms booked at the marriott.

As for Models I am working on that, I have come to hate them, You book them through a professional agency, you book 6 and 2 show up! or they have attitudes etc...
So I am working on more reliable sources with good attitudes, we will see.

Thanks for trying to get a better rate. We'll book our rooms at the hampton tomorrow. We don't plan on being in the room much anyway

Here's a link for the website Townplace Suites set up for us.
http://cwp.marriott.com/ontts/lainvasion/
For anyone staying in the area, the infamous drink table will be set up shortly after our arrival.

Autox would be fun!! .. Autox'ing with a hot model as my passenger would be even more fun ... I would drive the course as slow as possible though
