Really? I've technically had 5 fourth gen fbody's. I might get another one for a DD, but I don't miss them that much, lol.

The corvette is Chevy's flagship for a reason. Look for excessive tread wear on the rear tires. Parts are more expensive for a corvette, known as the vette tax. I would make sure all the electronics and guages are working. Once you purchase a C5 invest in a Column Lock Bypass from Corvettes of Houston or another manufacturer. It's a security issue involving the column locking mechanism when the wheel is turned with no key. On a C5 the column lock is electrical, and could malfunction and disable the car. Most owners install them for "no worry" insurance.

Only to have it as a second car on my insurance to get a discount and to keep miles off my Vette, that's it. I won't miss an Fbody that's for sure.

I will never sell my Fbody for a vette, I would buy a vette to keep the miles off the fbody, then again I am a Camaro fan and vettes are just nice toys.

Julian, vette tax, that's about all you have to watch for lol.

I was noticing the exact same thing, I personally like the 1998-2002 4th Gen F Body more than the C5...

I'd say you've definitely got it backwards.
Vette's were designed better, lighter, better handling, and better looking...

C5 or C6? The C6 is hands down the sexiest creation ever

The newer the better, look for body damage or overspray where damage may have been repaired, check under the front bumper there are two bars the run front to back and get damaged very easily, rocking seats are also an issue.

I have started driving my WS6 to keep the miles on my vette down and I will say that I have missed it. Its bone stock now but its alot of fun to drive again, and I get a **** ton more compliments on my WS6 than I do on my Vette

Nahh I have loved Camaro's since a little kid that's how it's been, I was never a vette nutswinger... ahem ahem, lol.

Just my preference, when it is preference you really can't be backwards. Yeah the vette performs amazing, I would buy one to daily, but that's my opinion.
