where did you buy your paint gun kit?

 

I got it for graduation present but I believe they ordered it from eastwood.com with disposable cups etc it was a great package

 

so today I finally got time to base the bumpers and rockers, with the yellow, I just need to tape up were the black will go and shoot it up with the clear here are the pictures, before painting it I put bulldog adhesive promoter works real good.

 

I would recommend a trans am ceta diffuser from 6LE. Seen it in person, looks absolutely killer.

looks good, but owner wants to keep it pretty stock out side, other than wheels and paint lol im about 90% finished with the car now

yeah ive heard dodge viper snake skin green looked pretty cool on 4th gen trans ams.

 

It has had fukn bugs on it but when its dry I simply wet sanded with 1000 around the bug and dust/spot it in and good as if it was in a booth lol

thx man....black would give it a different look but the chrome vette rims actually compliment it better if you could see it in person. this coming from someone who until i saw it, did not like green or chrome rims - lol. im actually gonna get some green ghost flames on the hood & coming out the side vents...watch for my new thread & vote in my poll. thx



on the bumper...it may be too late but i think if you were to follow the contour of the bumpers intake instead of taking it to a point it would look better, not to mention a little different then the car he's trying to emulate. its his car so its right for him, but its just a suggestion...it will look killer either way. great job!

I agree I think it would flow better if it followed the line in black. Either way your doing a bad *** job.

 

Agreed you are doing a heck of a job. I like what was editted here also, by not bringing it to a point. But hey, you can do whatever you like. It has been fun following this thread. Keep up the good work.

Would look sick but I asked the owner about it and he wants it just like the trans am on the 1st page, so that's what ill do, I just sprayed the black but had some **** that happened, I will have to fix it and spray it again tomorrow

 

it looks great and you really did an awesome job with it.

well after today I am officially over painting this car, got up at 6 to spot in some spots and clear the whole car again..

check em out, I re did the the hood, got a straighter line this time.. looks really really damn good if I do say so myself.

now all thats left is put it all together buff it and car wash so I give it back clean and collect my MONEY lol

 

Lookin awesome! I see you fixed the antenna mount too . You re-did the whole roof/sail panel too, right? Any pics of that? Will that be later?
