Ok just wasted some money on Stock Cats ($260) from a 01 SS had them put on (Cus I need to pass my smog my smog guy got canned and is doing time now) just to find out that they are bad...(I should have checked..) not gutted tho..just clogged and wondering if they're still worth anything..( I hate Ebay ) since I just got em in. (filed with Paypal to say its a defective product seller hasn't responded) I might keep em since I'll probably still get my refund..Should I just take em to the scrap yard? or is there a recycler of some sort in Nor-Cal that would take em?

U need a license to sell cats to a recycler. (i think) the guys that pick up metal take them. They won't give u more then 80 for both

I have a set fs in the western classifieds, $180 for the set and i just passed smog with them last week.

Yeah I think I pm'd you I had these on bid and won them...didn't expect to get busted cats when I won it on Ebay...It was from a seller in Santa Monica...
