WTF is going on with these drivers!? I do see a trend with this and the other vid with the red ZR1 - they both veered off to the left.

Indeed. This is crazy - is this a shifting and traction issue?

The video the OP posted in a white vette; are you saying there is another video of a white vette doing the same?

Here is the Videos of the red vette -

Here's a white ZR1 (in the info, it says it's a Z06) vette losing it -

this is what happens when you put inexperience 50 year old men having a mid life crisis in a car that has 500+ hp
most ppl that have that have the money to buy these cars dont have the driving skills and/or they owned a "hot car" back in there hay day so they think they can drive but there old "hot car" probably only had 300hp at the motor, nothing like newer sports cars

that white vette in the last video isnt a zr1. it has a white top. but non the less, it sucks to see so many corvette fail videos.

I honestly understand it, the last C6 I drove with exhaust and tune was pretty sweet, my friend took off TC completely and on an on ramp it went left like in the vids luckily I just reacted and kept it straight but I could see how they would get comfortable and not even be ready to react if this happened.

I am thinking lots of old men or young fellas, who think they are the next supercar racer, driving these cars without respecting the power, at least thats my opinion.

I drive the hell out of everything I own, I owned a vette.. it rained almost the entire time I owned it (it wasn't long..) I never had this problem.

it was stock tho..

what I did have a problem with tho was traction. For some reason, despite the car having 11" wide rear tires, it can't hook to save it's life. When it didn't hook tho the car was dead straight.

I remember taking about 30 seconds to cross a 4 way intersection out in the country after a long rain. speedometer read 50 or so but I was barely moving at all.. car went in a straight line.

later on that same intersection in the truck in the rain kicked the rearend pretty hard to the side. Camaro kicks out too there.. but it has only rained maybe 3 times since I got the camaro.. (which was MARCH..)

either way.. I agree with the others, RWD can get away from you in a hurry if you're not used to it. I don't attest to being an expert, but .. ya know overcorrection was the real problem with most every one of those videos.

a vette's tight steering ratio probably doesn't help these guys.

Quick someone should do a witty motivational poster for the vettes...

Something like money can't buy you driving skills... or

Corvettes, good for making only left turns.
