Default car randomly shuts off then takes time to restart?

99 ss stockish ls1 6 speed

car will run and drive fine no issues. But then it will shut off and not restart. Today i drove it around the block, parked it running went to move another car and it shut off, tried to restart it wont turn over.

tried locking unlocking nothing. Waited about 5 min now it will crank but wont fire. If i wait some more time it will turn over and start like nothing happened. Tested fuel pump it has good psi. Im thinking VATS?

tried searching but this search sucks. thanks guys

Dont think that VATS would shut the car off if its already running nor would it crank over at all. You would get a security light right away.

Jason you should have stuck with the mustang! lol

manny if you dont have the cam sensor there thats not good. there should be a hole right next to the oil pressure sensor where the cam sensor goes.

should be like this:
