Make sure you get a DUAL piston return springs. They require more seat pressure if you got them with rings.

I need to change out my oil pan gasket as well. I am pretty sure that is where my leaks are coming from.

So if I took my Z28 to a Chevrolet Dealership would they drop the engine or put a stand under it?

If they go by the book, they will pull the engine by dropping the K member. are you sure its the pan gasket leaking and not say the oil pressure sender or a seal?
Honestly the best way to change the OP gasket in my opinion is to just pull the motor because you will always find somthing else like a bad motor mount, rear main seal etc, pulling the motor from the top or bottom is not all that bad, having the right tools is the key here.

Why pull the engine if his oil pan gasket is leaking? unnecessary labor for something that takes two hours using one of these is the smarter choice.
