Default Engine Builder in Burbank, CA Area

I've been reading a number of threads and trying to gather some insight as to who to trust to do engine building etc. I've picked up a L92 with LS3 heads that had some work done at West Coast Cylinder Head recently and I'm trying to get some recommendations on who would be a good engine builder in the area. The build is going into a 94 C1500 short bed standard cab, that I hope will weigh in at 3500lbs when complete, the suspension has been 4 linked and upgraded significantly with the idea I could do some auto crossing in it, but the main goal is build something with great reliability with good performance. The truck has a Ford 9" rear end with 4:11 gearing but that can always be changed out. If anyone has suggestions for a private builder or shop it would be much appreciated especially if you have any personal experience.

I only will deal with 2 places in all of So.Cali, Cunninham Motorsports in Murrietta (See Sponsor list) and Superior Performance in Anaheim. Both are well worth the drive!

QMP in reseda, i have tuned 3 800rwhp blower motors from them that have gone 200+ in the standing mile....if you want to take the drive we can build you a solid setup as well, being that i work with richard at WCCH heads on a daily basis i know his stuff very well, in addition Richard and i are friends.... you should also talk to richard and ask for his recommendations

thank you for the info, I should reach out to Richard, I'm not too concerned about the drive more interested in getting the job done right which will save a lot of headaches.

I had my L98 built at Burbank Speed and machine. My buddy just got his LS1 built from there too. The owner Dave is a really cool guy. They are worth checking out.
