Default Turbo guys need help

Need some pointers when mounting my Wastegate can I just mount it to where it dump outstraight or dumps into the down pipe and does it matter

You can do either but a dump to atmosphere is going to be very loud.

Like said, if you do it to atmosphere it will be loud and you will get tired of it fast. I would route it to the down pipe, Also make sure the WG inlet tube has flow same direction with the turbo flange.

I plan on doing it that way ivan i dont want to bring anybunwanted attention to my self lol know any welders

you could just dump it to atmosphere and run it's own pipe (Probably a 1 1/2" to 2" pipe) to follow the DP down and end it around the bottom of the K-member. You know what I mean?

And it sounds like a giant exhaust leak too, Maybe cause it is lol.

i have mine going to the atmosphere. and it sounds awsome. kinda sounds like a jet plane taking off.

ill see if i got some on the computer. these are the only two that i have on my computer. but the gates outlet goes straite to the groung by the k member. on the second pic its hard to see the passanger gate

if your car has no mufflers, dont worry about an open gate. If your car is super quiet, you will hear the WG opening. But honestly the WG operates better when open, boost control is much better without the backpressure in the downpipe

No muffler than it doesn't matter. Mine had a bullet on my old setup so I can hear the wastegate open. Im not into having a loud car anymore so I got a borla Xr1 muffler which I hear should quite it down. I'm shooting for having the quietest 8 sec car.
