Anybody in PRK received a renewal requiring smog testing for a car that they bought originally 2009. Are we due this year or next?

I have a 2009 CTSV in Arizona that is due next month. When I ordered my new personalized plates they wouldn't go past my date of purchase which is this January. Times up!
I am not sure if Smog and emissions are the same in the two states.

Many thanks, sir, that alone tells me what i need to know.
I'm at 658 RWHP, so I might have a few issues.
I'm not due until about Fourth July weekend.

I believe 5 or 6, and the AZ response tells me
mine will be due about July of this year.
Sucks.

Its 5 years. So 2009 should be due. I work at a dealer and we just had to smog all of our 2010s.

It's 6 years, but PRK '09 cars might still be due depending upon how you look at it.

From the PRK DMV smog cert info.

Vehicles registered in areas subject to the biennial smog certification program are required to submit evidence of a smog certification every other renewal period. Owners of vehicles six or less model years old will pay an annual smog abatement fee for the first six registration years instead of being required to provide a biennial smog certification. The registration renewal notice mailed to you by the department will indicate if a smog certification is required. If a smog certification is required and you have not had a smog inspection, you may still pay your registration fees to avoid any late fees. However, you will not receive your new registration or year sticker until the smog information has been received by DMV.
